Cyclone Alfred has been the biggest post-disaster power restoration in Queensland's and Northern NSW history, impacting supply to nearly a quarter of a million homes and businesses.

As proud supply partners of Energex, Ergon Energy and Essential Energy, TEN celebrates the efforts of more than 2,000 frontline workers who worked safely and tirelessly to restore power to Northern NSW and Queensland communities. 

TEN Group GM James Brown, based on the Gold Coast commented, "I was shocked we had the power back on within a week, with the amount of damage and trees into lines in our area I was sure it would be two weeks, a huge effort for all the crews and support team that had a very long couple weeks!".  

We commend the extraordinary efforts in repairing and rebuilding more than 135 km of the network over 11 days and nights. Thank you!
