NATA ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing capability awarded to TEN

8 Apr, 2026

TEN operates a NATA accredited testing laboratory to ISO/IEC 17025, providing independently verified testing capability that supports the supply of compliant products to Australian utilities.

This accreditation confirms that TEN’s laboratory meets internationally recognised standards for testing competence, technical accuracy and laboratory quality systems.

For utilities and asset owners, accredited testing is essential when approving products for installation on their networks.

This capability builds on the legacy of Dulhunty Power’s NATA-accredited testing operations, now re-established within TEN and operating to current accreditation standards.

Independent testing you can rely on

TEN’s laboratory operates independently from the commercial functions of the business to ensure testing outcomes remain impartial, technically robust and compliant with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

This independence gives utilities and contractors confidence that results are accurate and reliable.

Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025

Accreditation through the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) confirms that TEN’s testing processes meet rigorous technical and quality standards.

Our laboratory is listed on the NATA website and operates within the ISO/IEC 17025 framework for laboratory competence.

Supporting utility product approvals

TEN’s laboratory supports testing aligned to: AS 1154.1 & 3-2009.

This capability ensures products supplied through TEN can be independently verified against relevant standards before submission to utilities.

Utilities require compliant documentation packages that include pricing, engineering drawings and accredited test reports, which TEN can now support.

Strengthening compliance for utilities

Many utilities will not accept test reports that are more than ten years old, or reports issued by non-accredited laboratories.

TEN’s NATA accredited laboratory ensures products supplied through the business can meet these requirements, supporting utility and infrastructure approvals.

TEN’s laboratory is used exclusively for testing products supplied by TEN. Third-party testing services are not provided.
