TEN Group
The TEN Group (The Energy Network) was founded in 1998 with a vision to offer a level of products and services required for the electricity transmission and distribution authorities in a changing market. We are a trusted and valued supplier of quality tools and equipment for the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground networks. Our business has expanded and now operates across the Transmission, Distribution, Generation and Rail networks. 
The TEN Group is comprised of four complementary divisions:

With five offices across Australia and New Zealand, TEN Group offers national distribution to its customer base. Our global network of manufacturers continues to expand so we can deliver innovative products to the Australian and New Zealand markets.

TEN Group service and repair is your planned maintenance and repair provider. We ensure your tools and equipment are performing quality installations first time, every time.
Manufacture
TEN Group manufacture & assembly is your specialist provider of high quality canvas and PVC products. In addition we manufacture and custom assemble a range of utility tools and equipment
Hire
TEN Group is your partner in delivering a project on time and on budget. TEN Hire has a range of flexible options for utilities and contractors working in Transmission, Distribution, Overhead and Underground

THE BALLAD OF TEN
I’ve been standing here this evening – I’ve been soakin’ up the mood
I’ve been entertained superbly in the midst of drink and food
I’ve been laughing, I’ve been loving it – the Skull a first class trick
The Faulty Towers team and still to come, the voice of Nik
I’ve been goin’ with the flow of electricity tonight
Now a mega-spark of static sets the furniture alight
This Club of Queensland Cricketers is leveled with a jolt
Like a Lenny Pascoe bouncer with a seven fifty volt
A decagon descends and now the Gabba roars again
For the tradie knew a number and the number known was TEN
A message from the maker and to make that message clear
I am here to give you TEN line-fitting reasons why you’re here
It started with a vision – nothing fancy – no big guns
Just an empty room, a six pack – just a father and his sons
But the vision would be naught without the second mighty force
The energy of those who gave their pride a decent course
Let’s not beat around the basement where the empty vessels lurk
Thou shall not fulfill potential in the absence of hard work
The third of Ten Commandments had the sleeves rolled well and good
And I’ll look you in the eye and deal the fourth ace if I could
Sincerity in straight up terms – it never goes astray
And for the fifth of these phenomena – it often paves the way
For those who stand in tow tonight might vouch for what it’s worth
The friendships that develop well exceed the rich man’s girth
Because their currency continues even when the fizz is gone

To celebrate the good times – have a dig then have some fun
And that’s the way it’s always been – the moral to the glow
Live life on the front foot - light it up and let it flow
Ten years ago, they stood there – ten years ago, that dream

Which leads us to the last piece and from scriptures, let me borrow

TEN’s Corporate Social Responsibility Vision:
'To recognise the opportunity we have as a business group to meet our corporate responsibility and make positive differences in our environment, community and humanitarian welfares'.
TEN Group is committed to being a socially responsible corporate identity. As part of TEN's corporate social responsibility program, we have nominated the McGrath Foundation as our charity of choice. The McGrath Foundation was founded by Jane and Glenn McGrath after Jane’s initial recovery from breast cancer. The McGrath Foundation aims to raise money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses throughout rural and regional Australia as well as educating young women to be breast aware
TEN has a strong reach into rural and regional Australia through our demonstration van visits to utility depots and mines. In many cases these industries are major employers in rural and regional centres and present a great opportunity for TEN to help spread the McGrath Foundation message. Unfortunately, breast cancer is a disease that affects both men and women, making it vitally important to help raise money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in the community to support women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families, as well as educating younger women to be breast aware, as early detection saves lives.
